Whyte Harte #Bletchingley, #Surrey
@TheWhyteHarte Old grade II listed inn which has reputedly been a hostelry since 1388. It is constructed from ships' timbers that were said to be 400 years old (at the time!) Several alterations have taken place over the years. When #Bletchingley was a rotten borough, the elections were held in this public house. It has 3 amazing fireplaces such as "chimney corner", which has a fire-back in the grate dated 1613

The world is changing, much to the detriment of our kin, our culture, our archaeology, our history & our overall existence as western people.
Join us as we shed some light into the darker parts of today, reminding us all what makes the west so glorious.

The Albion, St Paul's Way, Bow (1980s). Established in 1881 and closed around 1990. It hung around in a derelict state until 2005 when it was demolished. Apparently the pub had closed shortly after the body of a murder victim was found in the back yard.
