The King William IV #RIP
155 Trafalgar Road, #Greenwich, #London - Pub closed in 2011 & reopened as the "King William Hotel" in April 2014. It closed again in 2016 ; changed it's name to "Ye Olde Turk," (Turkish Restaurant). Another loss to our pub scene.

"There is nothing which has yet been contrived by man, by which so much happiness is produced as by a good tavern." - Samuel Johnson
"I would give all of my fame for a pot of ale and safety."

-William Shakespeare
#OnThisDay in #Pub history (1495) was the first written record of #Scotch #Whisky which appears in Exchequer Rolls of #Scotland, the distiller is named Friar John Cor. Scotch whisky (Scottish Gaelic: uisge-beatha na h-Alba;  - The Water of Life - often simply called Scotch)🥃
@ChelseaDan5 & @VinnieSull1van Back out filming for plenty of new features on the weekend, we also have some more to release that we've recently filmed with @_GlennTeale & @Full_3nglish.

As summer approaches remember our #Pubs. Without our help, they'll dissappear. 🍻🍻
