Beer-loving Shetland pony MAYOR 'banned from pub' by council!

Miniature Shetland Patrick (mayor of Cockington) was banned by council bosses from him his local pub following a complaint.

Kirk Petrakis, 42 and his four-hoofed buddy once loved the Drum Inn in #Cockington

Too many people needlessly change pub frontages over the years, only to later try and recreate the look the building started with generations ago.

The Star was situated at 256 Borough High Street. This pub has now been demolished, with a block of flats now standing on the site. c1908

Enjoying a well-earned pint in The Bear Hotel in #Marlborough #Wiltshire #SN8. I do love this area with its historic buildings and real pubs (what's left of them).

The Death Of The Bucks Head ⚰️
Heybridge Road, #Telford (Football Ground)

Another public house which once served it's local football supporters lost to tacky modernism. Never ending stories have been replaced by yet another generic fast food restaurant.

This pub was left to rot for years before being taken over by #Domino's pizza. It's understandable that Pubs can become troublesome, but it's not understandable that we should give up on them altogether. Goodbye to the Bucks head and to memories it provided. 🍻

The Queens Larder (The Mad King) - 1 Queen Square, #Bloomsbury, #London, #WC1N - @Queenslarder

This stunning building doesn't just capture the eye but sits in the iconic location of #London's Bloomsbury. Steeped in history we found it an awful shame that it's pub sign resembles some kind of child's drawing. Modernism has no place among our Pubs, we'd like to see a sign that properly represents both the public house and the people of England.
