The Wellington [Open] #Stockport
Address: 59-61 Wellington Rd S, #Stockport SK1 3RU

Unlike most of our posts, this one shows a recently abandoned pub brought back to life in Stockport, let's hope they have a good run.
The older image was captured in January 2022 so this property is fresh out of the wrapper. 🏆

"British Pubs are weird" aye? Wonder why you'd think that. 🤔

A Canning Town Gem hidden among modernism and a society that barely notices it.
We're losing pubs by what feels like the day at this point, properties like this matter!

Always wonderful to hear back from the kind pub owners who give us our wonderful tours. This was a genuinely amazing day and couldn’t have asked for more 🤍

Britain's pubs are about to dissappear on mass, we intend to archive as many as possible before this happens.
Please consider joining us in both viewing and archiving the wonderful pubs we're losing.
Even busy pubs will suffer and close at the hands of new energy bills and multiple cultural attacks which are very deliberate.
Our series will continue on our other page but there's far too many to cover in a lifetime and they're disappearing at a rapid rate.
Especially the pubs you see being either demolished or renovated, some pictures I've received show a pub just as the demolish crew have stepped in, making the image we have very last.
Pubs aren't just places to drink they're the excuse we need to be among each other without needing to ask.
They're the cultural places which carves our hearts and minds, today's regime to buy out and close pubs is to destroy the community and people who need them.
Join us in enjoying and mourning, 'Britain's Lost & Living Pus'.
