I’ve grown up being taught and knowing I’m just as capable, just as strong and just as intelligent as our male counterparts.
I’ve grown up knowing that the world is my oyster and what I become is all down to choice and hard work.
I’ve grown up to idolise the women that came before me and paved the way so that I could be in the position I’m in today.
I know the position I have now would not be possible without the sacrifice other women had made.
And because of that, I will always use my voice and strength for good, to fight the causes I believe to be of upmost importance.
To show our daughters and granddaughters that although we may be small, we are mighty.
