Investigations into social media images of the Taliban snatching US Army trucks, Humvees and other vehicles - donated to Afghan forces - have confirmed the staggering loss of equipment falling into Islamist hands.
Over 700 vehicles are now in the Taliban’s possession, but the true number may be far higher - given an estimated total of 25k Humvees have been transferred to Afghanistan.
The figures may suggest that the resolve of local defense forces is weakening ahead of the US-planned withdrawal from the country in September…. 🇦🇫😡
