A known Islamist has attacked police in France. 😡🇫🇷
Ndiaga Dieye, the man identified as the assailant, is dead following a shootout with police after he earlier today left one officer in critical condition and severely injured two more with a knife attack.
French media report Dieye is known to authorities - he’s been on the watchlist and reportedly known for radical Islamist views.
He’s also reportedly been recently released from prison.
“How could an individual known for radicalization, known to have wanted to attack police, be outside, free to harm?” tweeted Marine Le Pen……..😡🇫🇷
