Everyday I feel like I have won the lottery of life to have been born English.
Our history, traditions, mannerisms, culture and achievements are second to none.
Our armed forces past and present make my heart beam with pride.
The tough yet reserved and polite nature of the English is what I love most about our people, we have the ability to push through the darkest of days with dignity and a little wit thrown in.
Today take pride in who you are, in what our forefathers did for us and make sure your children know that they have also won the lottery of life for we are the English.
