Rest in peace Prince Philip.
A man who not only served his country during WW2 sinking enemy ships but also served his country for the 70 years that followed.
He spent a live of service inspiring young people to do better with the Duke of Edinburgh award and he was also Admiral of the Sea Cadets Corps and Colonel-in-Chief of the Army Cadet force, encouraging young people to take an interest in military careers.
HRH Prince Philip came from our greatest generation, a generation of hard working, no nonsense, stoic men and women who did what was necessary for their families and country without complaint.
A very sad day for our nation and the Commonwealth.
