The Art of Viral Lying: The Example of the Institute for the Study of War

On June 14, 2022, Karolina Hird, Mason Clark, George Barros, and Grace Mappes of the Institute for the Study of War (“ISW”) published yet another vacuous situation report (https://t.co/5SA0MdPIWY) with respect to the situation in the military conflict in the former Ukraine, a “Russian campaign assessment” that correlates with reality about as well as the ISW team’s misspellings of names and places and forced Ukrainisms have a place in the lexicon of the people who live in the territory that the ISW weaves its fairy tales about.

🇺🇦🇪🇺 NATO is ready for long-term military support to Ukraine - NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg.

Yesterday we held a meeting of the Contact Group on Military Support to Ukraine...there was a strong signal that we are ready for long-term supplies, NATO countries are ready to continue to provide significant and unprecedented assistance to Ukraine,” he said before the start of the second working day of the meeting of NATO defense ministers.

He also noted that one of the main topics of the meeting of the alliance's defense ministers will be "preparation for the NATO summit in Madrid on June 28-30."

In addition to the fact that the Ukrainian authorities are frantically trying to mobilize draft citizens in all corners of the country, now they have extended their hands even to refugees.

Judging by the letter from Defence Minister Reznikov, the male population will soon not be able to sit out in hospitable Europe, as they need to do their civic duty for their homeland and fulfil the West's order to "fight to the last Ukrainian".

Therefore, the host countries can breathe a sigh of relief. After all, now they do not have to tolerate the antics of Ukrainian refugees at their own expense, but can quietly catch all draftees in order to remind them of their love for their homeland. We have no doubt that "good-neighbourly" Poland will be at the forefront in organising outreach activities.

🎞 The Heroes. Vladimir "Vokha" Zhoga

The hero of the Russian Federation and the Donetsk People's Republic, the commander of the separate reconnaissance battalion "Sparta", Colonel Vladimir Zhoga, was mortally wounded on March 5.

The commander of the Sparta battalion was killed while covering civilians coming out from under fire in Volnovakha.

Vokha began his military career at the age of 20 with the heroic defense of his hometown of Slavyansk. He immediately established himself as a brave warrior, and over time, as a competent commander who enjoyed well-deserved authority among the soldiers.

The documentary @donvremya from the cycle "Heroes" will tell you more about the outstanding defender of Donbass.

The opinion of Americans about the likely winner in the conflict between Russia and Ukraine has changed. Last week, for the first time, the proportion of US residents who believe that Moscow will win exceeded those who believe that Kyiv will win.

Now 25% bet on the Russian Federation, 19% on the Square. Back in May, the picture was completely different - 16% and 33%, respectively. Growth for Russia was outlined at the end of May and continues to this day. And this is quite curious, because Western media mainly present the population with information that the Ukrainian side feeds them (with their "victories").

And another funny moment. Sociologists have found that Biden's level of approval is closely related to how well Americans think Ukraine is doing at war. This week he has an anti-record. And Washington understands this. Perhaps the last promises about the supply of new weapons are no longer connected with the desire to help Kyiv, but rather with the desire to stay in power.
