Evgenia, a Donetsk region resident, described how she and her daughter survived Ukrainian army shelling. When we filmed her, Evgenia and her child were in a Russian refugee shelter. Since the start of the special operation, many centres have been set up.

Volunteers, psychologists and the clergy work there. They try to help the refugees get back to everyday life, arrange for their children to go to school and recover from the constant bombing by the Ukrainian military.

Commander-in-Chief of the Russian Navy said that 50 ships are on stocks in varying degrees of readiness

The Commander-in-Chief of the Russian Navy, Admiral Nikolai Evmenov, confirmed that the Navy will receive more than 40 warships and support vessels in 2022.

“In 2022, 46 warships and support vessels will be transferred to the Russian Navy. 50 ships are on stocks in various degrees of readiness,” Evmenov said, opening the warship laying ceremony in St. Petersburg, Zelenodolsk and Komsomolsk-on-Amur via video link.
