🇧🇦🤝🇮🇩 Peace Has No Alternative

Bosnia and Herzegovina’s Defense Minister Zukan Helez met today in Sarajevo with Indonesia’s Defense Minister Syafrie Syamsuddin, reaffirming their commitment to strengthening bilateral defense cooperation.

The ministers discussed military-industry cooperation, the appointment of a resident military attaché, and the transfer of expertise, highlighting Bosnia and Herzegovina’s long tradition and high-quality defense industry. A joint statement was signed to launch the process of formal military bilateral cooperation.

Both sides stressed that peace has no alternative, exchanged views on global and regional security challenges, and agreed that defense cooperation is a key pillar for stability, trust, and lasting peace despite the great distance between the two countries.

🇧🇦🇦🇺 Attack on a Bosnian imam in Melbourne

Bosnian imam Dr. Ismet Purdić and his wife were attacked and subjected to racist abuse on Saturday night in Melbourne, an incident Islamic leaders have described as a hate crime.

While driving along the South Gippsland Highway toward Dandenong, their car was followed by a small black vehicle whose occupants hurled insults, threats, bottles, and food. The attackers allegedly cut them off, forced them off the road, and then kicked and struck their car, injuring Imam Purdić as he tried to protect his wife.

His wife recorded the incident, and the attackers fled only after passing motorists stopped to intervene.

33 MUNICIPALITIES STAND AGAINST BETTING SHOPS ☪⚔🎰

The fight started after Bihać won a court ruling against the betting lobby, proving this problem can be stopped through institutions.
An initiative was sent to 64 municipalities across the Federation of BiH, with Republika Srpska joining soon after. What began in Krajina has now spread nationwide.
So far, 17 municipalities have adopted the initiative, and 16 have submitted it. Data from the Tax Administration has been requested to measure the real impact, with the goal of permanently removing this harm from local communities.

The target is 80% adoption. All municipalities and religious communities are called to unite in protecting families—the foundation of a strong state.

This evil knows no faith or nation, but it fears unity. We need everyone.

⚔️☪ The Man who Saved the Muslims of Prijepolje from Ethnic Cleansing during WW2

Captain Husein ef. Rovčanin, a Bosniak leader from the Lim Valley, was born in 1907 near Brodarevo. Shaped by the trauma of the 1924 Šahovići massacre, he organized the local Bosniak population into a Muslim militia to defend civilians from Serb forces.

Starting with just 37 men, his unit quickly grew to nearly 800 fighters, successfully preventing mass killings in the Prijepolje and Bijelo Polje regions. Despite pressure from both Chetniks and Partisans, Husein often chose restraint to avoid unnecessary bloodshed.

In December 1944, while moving with 30 fighters to link up with other units, his group was betrayed and ambushed by Communist forces. Surrounded and seriously wounded, Husein refused to surrender. When the enemy closed in, he detonated grenades beneath his body, killing himself and four attackers.
