My Brave had a "hiccup" last night, and failed to load after the Machine (Fedora 41) booted. I had shut down while connected to my Home Network. I was now booting at work, on our "dirty" Network, which is Starlink as an ISP. The error message when attempting to launch brave from a Terminal gave me the "Account is locked .." error message. There were ZERO error messages in the GUI. Apparently, Brave didn't shut down correctly, or something hiccupped due to the change of Network. Either way, it took a while to find this, and a couple of other Posts, all saying to remove the singleton file. It fixed the issue, and Brave launched. I'll have to see if the error can be produced again on my home Network now. Just a heads up for a bug from this Brave Update.

Suggest everyone using Brave read this entire Article (all Posts). The problem is still open.

Why are there advertisements at the end of the channel?

⚠️The ads you see at the end of Telegram channels are often placed by scammers. They’ve previously offered us large sums for advertising, but we’ve always declined. Unfortunately, with Telegram’s new policy, they can now place these fraudulent ads automatically on channels. We strongly urge you never to click on these links or enter your bank card information on suspicious websites.

🔸 🔹To remove these ads, you can either subscribe to Telegram Premium or boost our channel to Level 50. However, we prefer focusing on delivering news rather than managing boosts.

This post is to raise awareness. Ignore these scam ads, never click on suspicious links, and share this post to protect others from falling victim.
YOUR SAFETY COMES FIRST.

👆 This is a telegram annoyance and this is a PSA to never click the ads at the bottom of the channels. We do not have any say or choice in the matter. The ads are not sponsored by us but Telegram. Durov still needs to address this matter and has yet to do so.

A little about network cables. Most people don't have heavy needs of a very high speed Ethernet cable. One Gbit internet is probably more than most people still need. A lot of internet servers can't accommodate that kind of bandwidth for a single user.

If you are into hard wiring your house instead of wireless. Consider your needs carefully before investing.

Recently Pi-Hole has been mentioned as a great network defense against tracking. It will not block the telegram ads but most standard website trackers and sniffers. The program does not have to be installed on a Raspberry Pi, but can be installed to a spare system that runs Linux. It will need some processing power for the blocking it does. The database can be rather large of the number of blocked domains.

Also a word of caution it can break websites of your services. If you have Spectrum internet service this will break their site. Utilities and financial institutions track you heavily. All in the name of preventing fraud.
