Governor Insanely is at it again.

A proclamation by Gov. Jay Inslee will temporarily halt non-urgent surgeries and other medical procedures as hospitals in Washington state continue to struggle with an increase in patients who have tested positive for COVID-19.

The executive order takes effect Monday and will run for one month unless Inslee rescinds it sooner. This is the third time since the pandemic began in March of 2020 that the governor has taken such an action.

The order defines non-urgent health care services as those that, if delayed, are not expected to cause harm to the patient within 90 days.

Protesters block entrance to Palace of Justice in Beirut, Lebanon

Relatives of victims of the Beirut port blasts protested in the Lebanese capital on Monday, blocking roads and entrances to the Palace of Justice. The protesters demanded an end to corruption and the dismissal of investigating judge Tariq Bitar.

The deadly blasts of August 4, 2020 that left Lebanon in disarray are thought to have been caused by the unexplained ignition of 2,750 tonnes of ammonium nitrate, a highly explosive chemical material that was reportedly stored without precautionary measures at the port.

How many port cities does Florida have??? There is a lot of water around Florida. I wonder if Gov. Ronnie is watching the water? Is he keeping a close EYE on areas of child and human sex trafficking???

Does anyone know?

China throws down gauntlet in microchip war with United States

Beijing’s National Bureau of Statistics said Monday the nation produced 359.4 billion integrated circuits in 2021, up 33.3% year on year. The growth comes amid the US-China battle for tech supremacy.

Statistics show last year’s Chinese production marked a significant acceleration from 2020, when its IC output rose 16.2% to 261.3 billion units. In terms of volume, China imported 432.5 billion ICs in 2021, still larger than the country’s output.

According to a Semiconductor Industry Association report, China’s semiconductor industry could account for 17.4% of global sales by 2024, up from 9% in 2020, if its current momentum is maintained. That would make China the world’s No. 3 seller of chips, behind only the US and South Korea.
