Also, of the images I posted on Oct 11, #1 through #4 are custom orders, the remainder are up for sale as well. I just don't have them in my hands quite yet so they're not mixed into the inventory pictures.

A little look at an adjustment I make to the retaining pins. In May/June I hadn't quite figured this out yet, so some of the earlier tails don't have the optimized pins.

I recommend 3/32" x 2½" hairpins, in case you need to replace one. These are easily obtained at auto parts stores, usually for less than $1. This thickness is fairly easy to adjust, and isn't SO strong as to gouge into the aluminum.
Also, tasty new things are happening. My original 3d-printed mold is in desperate need of retirement. I was hoping to get 100 pours out of it when I had it made. It has done 170 thus far. Turns out PLA can actually do quite well as a silicone mold.
So for 2023, it's looking like the convention schedule I'm going to try to do is:

Anthro Northwest ( Jan 5, Seattle WA )
Vancoufur ( Mar 2, Vancouver, BC )
Furlandia ( May 26, Portland, OR )
Fur-Eh ( July 6, Edmonton, AB)
Migration (Sept 9, Minneapolis, MN)
BLFC (Oct 30, Reno, NV)
PAWcon (Nov 3, San Jose, CA)

If everything goes approximately how I'm hoping it will, then 2024 will see me getting a little further from home. ;)

Well, it is ugly as sin, but there is finally a Boingy Tail sleeve pattern! Kept to the drab black and white to reduce printing price if anyone goes to their local print shop for this. Document area is 12" x 22". PDF version in the replies to this post.

So my goal for 2022 was to reach 200 tails out there. I have in fact just sent out my 184th tail with the last batch of the year. And that's a solid "close enough" in my books. As my processes improve and demand continues to increase, my new goal is 450 by the end of 2023.
Merry Christmas to me. Another tooling upgrade, this time in the form of an 8" bench vise, seen here next to the 5" vise known as Little Chungus that has been my workhorse up until now. I shall call it... Medium Chungus.
