Also don't forget not only can you buy followers but you can also buy "listeners" for livestreams, comments on your chat channels, emoji replies, sell channels for thousands of dollars, sell follower lists for thousands of dollars, get paid thousands to put advertisements on your channel, etc. On ALL social media platforms.

Also if you remember this channel did a chat series all about engagement farming, bots, and how to protect yourself from all of the above. Did anyone else start getting more spam calls/texts/emails after joining certain channels? That's because they sell your information while also allowing bots to do the same.

People are able to pay for followers, for people (real) to comment, for people to hit the emoji reactions, for people to "pump their channels", and for admins to run their channels. I'm glad X is doing this and hope telegram would too.
