Stacks is now live on Fireblocks.

2,400+ institutional clients can now reach Bitcoin DeFi directly: lending, trading, and BTC yield using the custody infrastructure they already trust.

With Stacks officially live on Fireblocks, this integration also sets the stage for self-custodial Bitcoin Staking later this summer: https://lnkd.in/dAxwyebR

Under 1% of Bitcoin earns staking yield, versus 28% of Ethereum and 65% of Solana.

The largest pool of capital in crypto is almost entirely idle.

Self-custodial BTC staking via Stacks is where that changes

Institutions hold billions in Bitcoin. Most of it sits idle.

Stacks and Fireblocks deep dive on how that changes.

Bitcoin Staking's yield via Stacks comes from Proof of Transfer (PoX), which has paid out 4,200+ BTC since January 2021.

Miners bid BTC to win the right to write Stacks blocks. The BTC they bid is distributed to those who stack. That is Proof of Transfer.

The yield comes from real miner economics, not from token emissions, inflation or lending.
