BTC Liquidation Levels Overview:
There are close to 5 billion in long liquidations sitting at the ~$28.8k level for Bitcoin. For now, bulls are protecting this price range. However, if bears are able to take out the $28,800 level, we would see some substantial liquidations of long positions which would likely trigger a bigger sell-off down to 28k. Be aware of the $28,800 price point.
vix has a 4h bear div attempting to confirm and form in 37 minutes, 5 week duration but it seems pretty weak, should result in some kind of chop for august

so i think i know what's going on so far.
vix is saying "no issues." since it keeps cratering and isn't rising. but dxy and us10yy/us bond yields super pumping because banks / wall street needs to raise capital reserves now. in other words liquidity and cash on hand. if you recall from a couple of months ago jerome powell testified to congress they were very much going to raise capital requirements which alarmed some of the senators.
all looks according to planned.
the lack of liquidity (temporarily) for wall strete/us whales probably means it impacts crypto trading for them a lot more, hence why crypto having issues but stonks are not.

Whats Is Funding Rate ?? When you long ,you are paired with another one shorting and vice-versa
But the bets are nearly never 50/50
So the side that has more bets(usually longs) pay a funding rate .
So if you're long and there's a positive funding rate like 0.0100,it means you pay 0.01% of your position in intervals .
Those are typically 8hour ,but it shows next to funding(the countdown).
When you see extreme funding like 0.0300 ,its a good indication that the market can be manipulated on opposite side.
Also often close to funding rate ,whales could close the position so they don't pay the fee.
If you see a funding fee like 1.000 which is extremely, usually the exchange will shorten funding intervals to like 3 hours.
And those entries are terrible.
When solana was been hammered at ftx , the funding on binance was 3.000 at 3hr intervals ,cause everybody was shorting.
Guess what? Sol wicked from 10$ to 14 ,killing shorts (including mine)

If ripple didn’t win that judgement, we’d probably be much lower already, and now is the time where I think we start to trend down market wide
most smart money understand and believe that the real bull run is next year
