If you’re learning tech and somewhere in the middle you think, “Maybe this isn’t for me,” don’t ignore that feeling. But don’t quit because you’re struggling either.

Sometimes you feel this way simply because development is hard. You get stuck, the code doesn’t make sense, and frustration makes you question yourself. Being stuck doesn’t mean you don’t belong.

But if you keep exploring, building, and learning, and your heart still consistently pulls you toward something else, listen to that too.

Not everyone has to become a developer. Give tech a fair chance, but don’t force yourself into a path where you don’t thrive. And

if tech is your path, don’t just learn it. Master it.

Maybe you have amazing skills, but if you don’t have good work ethics, you’re nothing to me. Skills can be learned, but good character matters more.

Life has no “undo” button, but it has lessons. Learn from the previous line and write the next one better.

In programming, one bug can’t make you delete the whole project. Don’t let one difficult chapter make you give up on your life.

Episode 4 is finally here! 🎙️🔥

I sat down with Birhan Nega, a software developer with over 10 years of experience, entrepreneur, company founder and content creator.

We talked about his journey in tech, building a company in Ethiopia, working with international teams, discipline, remote opportunities, AI and what genuinely separates an experienced engineer from someone who only knows how to write code.

If you're building a product and looking for testers, try to avoid requiring authentication. At least make some features available through public routes.

If you ask me for details before earning my respect, that's a big no for me.

Earn your user's trust first, when users trust your product, they'll share everything without even noticing.

Here's an example, TikTok doesn't require login to watch videos, but it tracks your keystrokes on your device. When you do log in, you're basically telling them who you are, most users don't notice that trade-off.

earn trust before asking for user information.

Well…
I left with questions.
I came back with stories.

Some chapters ended.
Some unexpectedly began.

I lost.... I learned.... I loved.... I grew.
And through it all....
Allah was there.
Alhamdulillah.

Let’s begin again....

Already 2 years have passed.......... countless sleepless nights with these guys. We had nothing but a laptop, a small room, and a big dream. Looking back, I miss those days more than I ever thought I would. Grateful for every late night, every bug we fixed together, every small win we celebrated like it was huge. To anyone starting out, keep going, the grind you're in right now might just become the memory you cherish most.
