I've seen traders with large accounts consistently lose money because their process was poor. And I've seen traders with small accounts grow them steadily because their process was disciplined and consistent.
The size of your account matters far less than what you do with it.
1% risk on £500 is £5 per trade. That doesn't feel significant. But a 60% win rate at 1:2 risk to reward on that £500 account compounds into something real over time.
The traders who blow small accounts and then say they need more capital to trade properly are usually wrong. They need a better process. More capital with the same process just means bigger losses.
Focus on the process. The account grows because of it. Not the other way around.
