We’ve got some exciting news! We’re launching a series of written tutorials on how to trade on our platform. Excited? So are we!

🤓 In this first tutorial, we’ll cover how to set your Stop-Loss (SL) and Take Profit (TP) orders, just like on major exchanges, allowing you to manage your trades in different ways.

When trading crypto perpetual contracts, you can set your Stop-Loss or Take Profit in two different ways:

1️⃣ Proportional Setting: Use this option to set your Stop-Loss or Take Profit based on the percentage of your trade that you're willing to lose or gain. For example, closing a position when it loses 10% of its value.

🔸 On Bitfunded, select the "Proportional Setting" option and input the Stop-Loss or Take Profit ratio you prefer.

2️⃣ Set by Price: Use this option to set your Stop-Loss or Take Profit based on a specific price level of a trading pair. For example, closing a position when Bitcoin reaches 90,000 USDT.

🔹 On Bitfunded, select the "Set by Price" option in your trading panel and input the trigger price (USDT) you want for your Stop-Loss or Take Profit.

💡 Leveling up: You can choose the type of order to execute your Stop-Loss or Take Profit:

1️⃣ MARKET: If you set your Stop-Loss or Take Profit with a market order, it will execute automatically and immediately when the trading pair hits the target price or percentage you’ve set.

For example: if you have a Stop-Loss "Set by Price" with a market order to execute when Bitcoin drops to 40,000 USDT, your position will close instantly at market price when Bitcoin hits that level.

2️⃣ LIMIT: If you set your Stop-Loss or Take Profit with a limit order, you select both the trigger price and the limit execution price. This means the limit order will trigger at one price and then execute at the specified limit price.

For example: if you have a Stop-Loss "Set by Price" with a limit order to trigger at 40,000 USDT and execute at 41,000 USDT, your position will place a sell limit order at 40,000 USDT and close the trade when Bitcoin reaches 41,000 USDT.
