📉 Bitcoin has dropped below $65,000.
🕵️ Vitalik Buterin proposed “transaction simulation” to enhance Ethereum wallet and smart contract security and user experience. Users would specify on-chain intent, review simulated outcomes, and then confirm or cancel, using tools like spending limits and multisig to align intent and risk. The aim is to simplify low-risk actions while making high-risk ones more challenging. Given the complexity of intent, systems should require overlapping intent signals and execute only when consistent, focusing on both security and user experience. link
🕵️ Missouri’s 103rd General Assembly introduced House Bill 2080 (Rep. Keathley) to create a Bitcoin Strategic Reserve Fund in RSMo Chapter 30.

Managed by the State Treasurer, the fund will accept resident Bitcoin donations or bequests, store them securely for at least five years, and may later transfer, sell, or convert them.

Foreign or illegal involvement is prohibited. U.S. crypto partners may assist, and biennial reports on holdings and security are required. A simple donation process and recognition program are provided, and government agencies must accept approved crypto payments. link

🇺🇸🕵️ The U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) staff recently released a FAQ clarifying that they do not object to broker-dealers applying a 2% haircut to stablecoin holdings for net capital purposes. This means that such holdings can count toward net capital requirements, allowing $100 million in stablecoins to be counted as $98 million. Previously, broker-dealers were uncertain whether USD-pegged stablecoins required a 100% haircut, which prevented their inclusion in net capital. #regulation link

The company is evaluating several non-binding opportunities to acquire power and land assets and believes it is prudent to prepare liquidity in advance.
