The coin will begin trading at BitShares on Tuesday morning EST under the ticker BCL.

This million coin offering will be in a trust created by four of the founders and will be provided 100% as a donation to the BitcoinLatina Foundation.

Part of the proceeds will be to apply for a Regulation A+, Title IV, Tier II offering of equity in the parent Nevada Benefits Corporation. The Foundation will use the remainder of the funds to push use and adotion of the BCL cryptocurrency and the GPU-mineable fat protocol it represents.

We will be selling two batches of coins, at $20/coin and then the majority at $25/coin. Again, this will start at 9am EST Tuesday morning USA-time.

Thanks for all of your mining efforts. The BitShares gateway will open shortly and we intend to begin trading on global exchanges as early as the 14th of February, but absolutely in Februrary.

Thanks for your patience while we were hard at work in Washington D.C. We appreciate your continued support and excitement for the BitcoinLatina project and we’ve seen some amazing conversations happening on Telegram and Discord. We appreciate your support.

We had a very productive and informative meeting regarding the formation of the Foundation, which goals to work towards, in what order and came away feeling that we had a much better sense of how to best proceed.

Here is the current roadmap:

The first two months of growth for the BitcoinLatina Blockchain of Latin America have been very successful, with the Foundation’s Telegram and other social media channels growing organically beyond one thousand people.

With this first group of wonderful volunteers, miners and spectators, we searched for and found weak points, where we can immediately improve before taking next steps forward.

Communication, service & support improvements are imperative for healthy, sustainable growth, therefore we will pause growth efforts while we turn our weaknesses into our strengths. We believe this can be accomplished this in the next couple of weeks.

To the future of the Foundation’s roadmap, we will first focus on tightening things up for rapid growth first and then a deployment of our plan and when we expect to reach each set goal.

We’ll also release a BitcoinTalk announcement as soon as all of the points listed above have been worked on and fully covered; not a minute before.

The AirDrop has begun and within the next 12-24 hours you will receive the expected 25% & 100% bonus rewards. If you don’t receive an airdrop within 12-24 hours it means your address is involved in the manual work of removing the fake accounts we’ve found.

After we discovered that someone created a bot to create fake accounts at BitShares to receive airdropped coins we then had to include registration at BitcoinLatina.org. Then likely the same bad actors decided to again write a bot to create fake and matching BitcoinLatina accounts. If you’re one of those who utilized a bot you will not be getting coins and will be deleted and blocked from registration. This unfortunate event has caused us to have to go through the IP addresses one by one, manually, causing a delay for everyone.

We can’t stress enough how BitcoinLatina is about integrity, and helping the people of Latin America. BitcoinLatina is about serving, educating and building a sustainable, secure Blockchain ecosystem. If people are taking advantage of the system that means they can get sales and resources that belong to miners and those that followed the alignment.

We’ll reach out to you separately in case any additional information is needed. We intend to finalize any airdrop activity by the end of the week - although this timeline is subject to variations due to the manual nature of the job.
