📁 More than a day has passed since the last batch of gifts was released on Telegram, and we decided to share a brief summary.

🤯 We never expected to receive such a massive number of orders per second. During the first wave of gifts, we quickly implemented some optimizations to process the order queue as fast as possible.

📞 Support was receiving approximately the daily number of messages every minute. Fortunately, we have more than one employee, so we managed to respond to clients in parallel, monitor the status of each order, and update the bot.

💪 Thanks to the overnight updates, during the second wave of gifts, orders were processed even faster, despite the increased order volume.

😎 Overall, we are satisfied with the result. In the midst of the recent frenzy, our old post about a million stars now seems funny, and yet, we handled EVERY single order. Some customers received their stars within seconds, others within minutes, but no one had to wait for hours.

😳 It’s scary to think about what was happening with competitors who process orders manually or didn’t have enough reserves to handle such a situation.

👨‍💻 Despite the pretty good result, we’ve still made a lot of conclusions and will continue to optimize our service to handle such a volume of orders even faster next time!

🔎 Наверное многие из вас уже слышали о ситуации, которая произошла сегодня ночью. Если новости обошли вас стороной, то рассказываем (больше под спойлером):

Недавно на площадке FunPay появился продавец, который продавал Stars по удивительно низкой цене - даже дешевле чем их себестоимость.
Судя по всему, не у каждого, кто видит подобное, возникает весьма логичный вопрос "а что же мне все-таки продают?".
Люди скупали звёзды оптом, перепродавали друг-другу, покупали подарки, дарили подарки, продавали подарки, грузили их в ботов.
Как итог, данный товарищ успел продать примерно 3.000.000 Stars, и проданные им звёзды сильно расползлись внутри Telegram.
Что случилось дальше? Этой ночью все эти звёздочки проданные по аттракциону невиданной щедрости - были отозваны, продавец сделал рефанд по их оплате.
Рефанда как такового не было, как оказалось, эти звезды были буквально дюпнуты через API Telegram, который позволял возвращать средства за подарок, который был подарен на другой аккаунт и там обменян на звезды.
У кого-то отозвали подарки, купленные за них, у кого-то улучшения, у кого-то вообще баланс старсов на аккаунте ушел в минус.

UPD 04.04.2025: FunPay пообещали заняться расследованием данного инцидента и возместить ущерб покупателям, которые пострадали от него. К сожалению, это не спасет тех, кто перекупил звезды/подарки через вторые руки и т.д., но в любом случае это правильный и уважаемый ход с их стороны

🫡 В связи с этой произошедшим хочется во-первых выразить соболезнования всем, кто оказался затронут этой ситуацией, потому что она коснулась многих

🛡 А во-вторых, мы напоминаем, что все Stars и Premium-подписки, купленные в @BitStarRobot НЕ имеют возможности быть отозванными.

🏪 Мы оплачиваем заказы наших клиентов исключительно в криптовалюте, а в соответствии с правилами Telegram, политика возвратов не распространяется на данный метод оплаты (то есть у нас даже нет такой возможности, но и желания проворачивать подобное конечно тоже нет)
