The jihadi was following in the footsteps of Mohammed. His motivations come from the political doctrine of Islam.

Was the Hamas Jihad Attack on Israel Predictable?

The strategy and tactics of violent jihad of the past and present, which include warfare as well as the use of terror, are based on the primary Islamic doctrine: the Koran, Hadith (Mohammed’s traditions) and Sira (Mohammed’s biography). Mohammed was one of the most successful political and military leaders in history and, according to the Koran, he is the perfect pattern for all people to follow. Knowing his strategies and tactics can help us to put preventive measures in place.

Here are a few examples of many from the Islamic doctrine that relate to the Hamas jihad against Israel:

■ Time

Significant Islamic jihadi attacks are often conducted in the morning. When Mohammed led an attack, it was in the morning.

Sahih al-Bukhari 610 Anas bin Malik said, "Whenever the Prophet went out with us to fight (in Allah's cause) against any nation, he never allowed us to attack till morning and he would wait and see: if he heard Adhan he would postpone the attack and if he did not hear Adhan he would attack them." Anas added, "We reached Khaibar at night and in the morning when he did not hear the Adhan for the prayer, he (the Prophet) rode and I rode behind Abi Talha and my foot was touching that of the Prophet. The inhabitants of Khaibar came out with their baskets and spades and when they saw the Prophet they shouted 'Muhammad! By Allah, Muhammad and his army.' When Allah's Messenger saw them, he said, "Allahu-Akbar! Allahu-Akbar! Khaibar is ruined. Whenever we approach a (hostile) nation (to fight), then evil will be the morning of those who have been warned.", Source: sunnah.com/bukhari:610

Based on this information, there’s a good chance that a jihadi attack could be conducted in the morning hours (both 9/11 as well as 10/7 happened in the morning hours).

■ Date

It is also notable that many attacks happen on dates connected to anniversaries of historic jihadi events. For instance, the Yom Kippur War, where a coalition of Islamic states attacked Israel in 1973, was a significant historic event and a defeat for the Islamic powers. So, the 50-year anniversary of the Israeli victory in the Yom Kippur War was an important date for Hamas as it was an opportunity for a successful jihad to compensate for the defeat. History is never far from the mind of Islamic war. The more we know about jihad, the more we will be able to anticipate and respond to these attacks.

■ Treatment of Captives

Hamas has in its inventory so called “Khaibar-1” rockets (en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Khaibar-1). Their name is connected to one of Mohammed’s victorious battles against Jews – the Battle of Khaybar. Mohammed ordered his followers to kill all the Jewish men and take the women and children as captives. Mohammed also took a Jewish woman, Safiya, as his personal sex slave. Here is the event described in a Hadith:

Sahih al-Bukhari 4200 “The Prophet offered the Fajr Prayer near Khaibar when it was still dark and then said, "Allahu-Akbar! Khaibar is destroyed, for whenever we approach a (hostile) nation (to fight), then evil will be the morning for those who have been warned." Then the inhabitants of Khaibar came out running on the roads. The Prophet had their warriors killed, their offspring and woman taken as captives. Safiya was amongst the captives, She first came in the share of Dahya Alkali but later on she belonged to the Prophet. The Prophet made her manumission as her 'Mahr'.” Source: sunnah.com/bukhari:4200

International Women's Day: The Status of Women in the Islamic Doctrine
Created by @CSPIIorg

In 1977, the UN declared International Women's Day a day for women's rights and international peace. Many nations celebrate it to honor women's accomplishments regardless of national, ethnic, linguistic, cultural, economic, or political differences.
The politics of Islam prove problematic to Kafir (non-Muslim) women, as its doctrine violates non-Islamic laws and systems, which are based on the principles of equality.

There are two sections of the Koran (Meccan and Medinan); this allows the doctrine to consider women in a dualistic way. There are verses that praise the mother above all men and say that women and men will be judged equally as to their actions on Judgment Day. At the same time, 71% of the Koran text about women states that a woman has a lower status than a man. In the Hadith, 89% of the text about women states that a woman has lower status than a man.

According to Islamic doctrine, every woman is lower than a man, and every Kafir woman is lower than a woman who follows Islam. Also, a Kafir woman can be used as a sex slave and raped; this is morally acceptable in Political Islam, as Mohammed himself had non-Islamic captives whom he used as sex-slaves.

We do not accept what Islamic doctrine considers normal practices, like child marriage, the abuse and oppression of women, slavery, violence, and harming others for their sexual orientation.

The United Nations formally established the International Day To Combat Islamophobia in 2022.

A "phobia" is a medical term meaning irrational fear. It is considered a mental disorder. The word "Islamophobia" is used to silence voices that are critical towards (Political) Islam.

@CSPIIorg scientifically analyzes Islamic doctrine's foundational texts (Koran, Sira, and Hadith) that deal with non-Muslims (Kafirs) to understand its impact on non-Islamic (Kafir) civilizations.

Such exercise yields the following numbers:
- 51% is about how to treat Kafirs (non-Muslims) = Political Islam
- 33% is dedicated to jihad
- 9% is anti-Jewish (in comparison to 7% of Hitler's Mein Kampf)

You can learn why we use the term "Political Islam" here: cspii.org/learn-politica

The application of Islamic political doctrine has resulted in more than 270,000,000 Kafir victims (1). No historical records exist of victims of the "jihad of purification" (2) within the Islamic community itself, but the almost 45,000 violent jihadi attacks since 9/11 (3) have caused a high number of casualties (4).

Therefore, it is ethical and rational to raise awareness about Political Islam as well as to reject its division of the world into Muslims and Kafirs, who are called the “worst of all creatures” (Koran 98:6) (5).

The primary Islamic doctrine (Koran, Sira and Hadith) devotes 51% of its text to Kafirs (non-Muslims) and how to treat them. This part of the doctrine is therefore political, not religious; thus, it is called Political Islam.

The word “Kafir” is not neutral; rather, it is a very negative expression. The Kafir is hated by Allah, and Mohammed fought with Kafirs and tried to force them into submission to Islamic dominion. "Kafir" is actually the word that best defines what Political Islam is.

5th of April / UN International Day of Conscience

The UN declared this day to “promote a culture of peace with love and conscience”, to oppose the outrage that human rights violations cause to the conscience of humankind.

Most free countries have adopted the UN Universal Declaration of Human Rights, which stands for freedom of belief, freedom from fear, equality in dignity, and rights.

However, over 50 Islamic countries of the OIC (Organization of Islamic Cooperation) have adopted a different Declaration of Human Rights (1) based on “Islamic values and principles” (Sharia or Islamic law in the original untranslated Arabic version, 2).

Islamic values, considered perfect, universal, and eternal, are found in the Koran (the words of Allah) and Mohammed’s Sunna (his words and deeds, Hadith and Sira) and codified in the Sharia. One authoritative source of Sharia law is the “Reliance of the Traveller (ROT)” (3).

Also, Islamic doctrine is political, as it includes how to treat Kafirs (non-Muslims). Examples of what Islamic beliefs and political doctrine state about humanitarian principles include:

Freedom of belief? All Humanity must submit to Allah and Mohammed (4); the word Islam means submission ; those who leave Islam face the death penalty (5)

Equality in dignity and under the law? For Allah, behaviour towards Kafirs must be hard and unyielding, and they must be detested (6); Slavery is allowed (7), as Mohammed himself was involved in every single aspect of slavery (8); In an Islamic state, Kafirs can live only if they agree to follow Sharia and never oppose Islam, as second-class citizen (dhimmis) submitted to a special set of rules (9)

Freedom from fear? Mohammed and Allah use terror against the Kafir (10), and it is therefore a permissible tactic of jihad against Kafirs. The fear of punishment for apostasy should also not be forgotten

How can we promote a universal culture of peace, love, and conscience when freedom of conscience in Islamic political doctrine means applying practices that are against civil laws, constitutional order, and basic human rights?

At CSPII, we believe that raising rational concerns about Political Islam is a sign of genuine kindness and care for all Humanity. Why? We have studied the current and historical effects of the Islamic doctrine about Kafirs, which have resulted in over 270,000,000 Kafir victims (11), and an unaccounted number of victims of "jihad of purification" (12) within the Islamic community itself.

Taliban Returning to Sharia Demonstrates Gravity of Mohammed
by @CSPIIorg

The recent announcement of the Taliban leaders in Afghanistan that they are reintroducing public stoning of women for adultery (1) as it is prescribed by the Islamic doctrine, clearly demonstrates the phenomenon in Islamic societies known as the "Gravity of Mohammed."

In the wake of their takeover of power in Afghanistan in September 2021, the Taliban had declared they wanted to respect both women's rights and human rights to a certain extent. However, as the recent announcement shows, the Islamic doctrine, when applied in an Islamic society without external (Kafir) influence, tends to get rid of any remains of non-Islamic impurities inherited from the previous era.

The "Gravity of Mohammed" means that over time, Islamic societies tend to get back to the pure authority of Allah as expressed through the Koran, and the example of Mohammed as captured in the Sira and Hadith. When it comes to the Islamic political doctrine, there is no such thing as moderate, conservative, liberal, fundamentalist or extremist Islam. What there is, is just one Islamic doctrine and various extents to which the individual groups or societies tend to adhere to it. The Gravity of Mohamed rule, as demonstrated by the recent statement of the Taliban in Afghanistan, shows that the tendency is always towards ever more of the doctrine.

May 16 - UN International Day of Living Together in Peace
by @CSPIIorg

Published on our website here: cspii.org/learn-politica

The United Nations established this day to “uphold the desire to live and act together, united in differences and diversity, in order to build a sustainable world of peace, solidarity and harmony.”

In two previous posts (Submission of the Kafir in Islamic Political Doctrine and What Does Islamic Peace Look Like?), we explained both non-Islamic and Islamic vision of peace.

Find out how the UN's intention behind the creation of this day differs from the Islamic political vision of "living together in peace."

For the Kafir society, “peace” means the absence of war and violence, whereas Political Islam defines peace as global submission to Allah and Mohammed, accomplished via the communal obligation to wage jihad (using both violent and non-violent tactics) on the Kafirs until they submit.

What do Islamic foundational texts (Koran, Sira, and Hadith) state about living together when Islamic rule is established in an Islamic state? Political Islam offers the Kafir two options that guarantee his survival and “protection.” He may convert to Islam or become a "dhimmi.”

If the Kafir converts to Islam, he becomes a full citizen; his life and properties will then be protected (1).

If he does not wish to convert, the Kafir can retain his own religion, but assumes the role of “dhimmi", a second-class citizen who must pay a special tax, the "jizya,” and be humiliated (2).

Mohammed set the example when he made the first dhimmis out of the peaceful Jewish farmers of Khaybar, a town two days' travel from Medina. Mohammed victoriously led his army in a surprise jihad attack, conquered the town, and took the Jews’ property as war spoils (including captives). The surviving Jews made an agreement called “dhimma” with Mohammed. If they gave the Islamic community half their profits, they could stay and farm the land. After hearing about Khaybar, the Jews of Fadak, a nearby town, panicked and asked Mohammed to spare their lives in exchange for half their profits, becoming dhimmis (3, 4).

Allah declares in eighty-nine verses of the Koran that Mohammed is the perfect example for all humanity, to be followed and obeyed (5); therefore, Mohammed's command to spread Islamic political rule by making jihad on Kafirs until they submit, i.e., either convert to Islam or live as second class citizens providing sustenance to the Islamic community via the jizya, is eternal (6, 7, 8).

The UN's intention behind the creation of this day is quite different from the Islamic political vision of "living together in peace."
