«فکر میکنم بیشتر از ۲۰ مرحله طراحی و اسکچ داشتیم، و کلی هم رفتوبرگشت و گفتوگو بینمون بود. خیلی هم نکتهها و یادداشتهای شخصی درباره چیزهایی که اون دوست داره رد و بدل شد.»اون ادامه داد:
«این لباس در واقع درباره اینه که اگر ستارهها به زمین نگاه کنن، دنیا چطور به نظر میاد؛ مثل وقتی که شب از داخل هواپیما به خط ساحلی طلایی نگاه میکنی. وقتی این ایده رو مطرح کردم، بیانسه گفت قبلاً همچین تصویری رو توی شبکههای اجتماعی دیده، اسکرینشاتش رو گرفته و با ما به اشتراک گذاشته بود و گفت: “آره، فکر میکنم همین همونه.”»اون اضافه کرد:
«در طول ساخت این لباس سفارشی، لحظههای خیلی خاص و جهتدهنده زیادی داشتیم و البته برای من یک افتخار بزرگه که لباس همبنیانگذار (co-chair) مت گالای امسال رو طراحی کردم و بخشی از بازگشت بزرگش باشم.»

“There are over 20 rounds, I believe, of design sketches, and a lot of conversation back and forth. A lot of personal notes on what she loves.
The gown is really about the perspective of how the stars would look down on earth, and seeing our golden coastline at night, like what you would see on a plane. When I spoke about the idea, she said she found that look also on social media, she screencapped it, shared it with us, and she said like ‘Yeah I think this is the one.’
There were a lot of quite special and directional moments throughout this whole custom with her, and of course, it is an honor to dress the co-chair of this year’s Met Gala and to be part of her big return.”
