Since 2021 the extractors destroyed the dream and the real culture of crypto. $ASTEROID is bringing it all back.

The fact that it happened on $ETH also carries meaning.

When we entered this market, we were all dreamers. We believed that memes were a direct attack on the traditional financial system, a system built unfairly to keep the majority trapped and those at the top untouchable. Memecoins made the game fairer, taught people about finance and sparked their interest in it. An act of freedom.

Since the 2021 bull run, our culture began to be attacked. It all started with automation, supply that was too cheap and the culture of greedy extractors who put profit above everything.
Anyone without technical knowledge became capable of launching a token. Before, you needed to know at least the minimum amount of code to do it. And not that this is bad in itself, the problem was what it caused: in an unregulated market with token creation so accessible, the perfect scenario for disaster was set. Way too many greedy people started launching attention-farming tokens with no purpose or narrative, just to enrich themselves. Whoever dominated attention dominated everything. Cartels formed. The culture was dying. What we believed in was fading away...
Until $ASTEROID happened.
The mascot of the biggest company in the world, which will have a trillion-dollar IPO, gave retail traders access to be part of this, even without being a mega investor like Buffett and others. With an incredible lore, a message so inspiring and exciting that it is capable of crossing generations, already bearing fruit for enormous things.
Nobody was able to put an end to this. The extractor culture from Solana tried. VAMP tried to vampirize the narrative and failed. A cabal with the perfect excuse of "first contract posted on the blockchain" tried. But the point was always the community, and the community always wins in the end, regardless of MC. In the end, $ASTEROID is healing the crypto meme community, bringing the culture back and the feelings we had in 2021. Maybe this will bring back the good things.
