Jericho, however, is well-known for being historically a stronghold for Fatah — The Secular & Social-Democratic wing of the Palestinian movement, that leads the Palestinian Authority in West Bank and often collaborates with Israel to crackdown on Militants —, thus a major escalation in 1 year.
