On Wednesday morning, Turkish occupation Zilka base was targeted by the Islamic Resistance Ahrar al-Iraq Brigade.
According to the Kurdistan Region's Directorate General of Counter Terrorism, no casualties were reported as a result of the attack. Of the eight rockets, two landed inside the military base located in the province of Nineveh, while the remaining landed in its surrounding area.
The attack was claimed by the Iran-backed Islamic Resistance Ahrar al-Iraq Brigade through its Telegram channels. The group stated that it had fired 20 rockets at the military base and threatened to escalate its operations onto Turkish soil.
In a formal statement, the faction declared, "Our operations remain ongoing and are continually evolving, and will not cease until the complete and immediate withdrawal of the occupying force [Turkish forces]. Should the occupying force persist in their presence, our operations will escalate and target military positions within Turkish territory."

๐ท๐ธ During a heated parliamentary session held this afternoon, Serbia's president Aleksandar Vuฤiฤ expressed his concern that Serbia could become a "pariah state" in Europe if it doesn't normalise relations with the self-proclaimed Republic of Kosovo.
The head of state's comments were met with a hostile reaction from the right-wing opposition, who shouted "treason," "betrayal" and "we won't give up Kosovo" in the chamber. Protesters also gathered outside the National Assembly.
Vuฤiฤ hit back, calling the rebel lawmakers "thieves and traitors" themselves and blamed certain politicians from the previous administration for "handing away" Kosovo and Metohija in the first place. He made clear that he "hasn't signed anything yet" and will continue negotiations.
