β€” "Foxconn founder Terry Gou announced on August 28, 2023, that he will join the Taiwan presidential race. The head of the Taiwanese tech giant will run as an independent candidate after he failed to clinch the nomination from the main opposition Kuomintang party, which chose Mayor Hou Yu-ih instead.

πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡ΈβŒπŸ‡·πŸ‡Ί β€” US Journalist Tucker Carlson claims: United States of America is preparing for open clash with Russia next year, 2024

The administration of US President Joe Biden will start a "hot war" with Russia in 2024 to maintain themselves in power over the United States, American journalist Tucker Carlson said in an interview with radio host Adam Corolla.

The decision has a political background, since Biden needs to retain the presidential chair, which will be held by wartime powers

β€” "They (US Democratic Party) can't lose. They will do anything to win. So how do they do that?

They're not going to do COVID again...They're going to go to war with Russia, this is what they're going to do.
There will be a hot war between the United States and Russia within the next year...They need to declare war footing in order to assume war powers in order to win.
I believe that and I think all the evidence suggests that's true."

πŸ‡¦πŸ‡«πŸ”₯πŸ“Ή β€” πŸ“° Al-Jazeera: Taliban Palace - The Second Year of Taliban Rule | 14-08-23
β€” "Rare behind-the-scenes access to the Taliban spokesman as local Afghans confront him about the failed economy and broken promises of women’s and minority rights.

With unprecedented access from Kandahar to Kabul, the Taliban’s main spokesman Zabihullah Mujahid opens the doors to the presidential palace. He takes us to the centre of the Taliban’s transition from rebel fighters to the nation’s leaders.

Charged with orders from the Taliban’s reclusive supreme leader, Mullah Haibatullah Akhunzada, Mujahid faces the stresses that come with governing a divided and traumatised country of 40 million people. In Afghanistan, human rights are under attack and the economy is crumbling.

Powerful businessmen, bold Hazara leaders and a fearless woman activist confront Mujahid about the Taliban’s many unfulfilled promises. He knows the stakes are high for an administration which is not formally recognised by the rest of the world."

πŸ‡²πŸ‡²βŒπŸ‡²πŸ‡² β€” πŸ“° Al-Jazeera: Christians oppressed in Myanmar's Chin State | 25-11-17

β€” "Christian churches are plentiful in Chin State, but many locals say the system in Myanmar still favours Buddhism.

Buddhist-majority Myanmar has a history of oppressing minorities.
Christians living in the mountains near the border with India faced violent oppression under military rule.
Although the situation has improved, many feel the new government hasn't made good on its promises of religious freedom and system remains stacked against them."

πŸ‡²πŸ‡²βŒπŸ‡²πŸ‡² β€” πŸ“° Deutsche Welle: Myanmar - How the Chin are fighting the Junta | 8-08-23
β€” "After the military coup in Myanmar in 2021, the Chin ethnic minority took up arms. The Chin people are fighting to defend their territory, their identity, and their democratic principles against the junta.

In the mountains in the remote west of Myanmar, a bitter war is raging. The Chin, a primarily Christian minority, still control most of the area after putting up a fierce resistance against the Myanmar military.

The resistance fighters train in the mountains along the Indian border. Hundreds of young people gave up their jobs or studies to join the battle.
Although they’re equipped with little more than light weapons, they’re determined to stand their ground. But the civilian population is paying a high price for the war.
Thousands of villagers have been bombed by the junta, their homes destroyed. Many have been forced to flee. Nevertheless, the Chin remain committed to the fight to overthrow the military regime."
