We condemn today's brutal attack on civilians, brutal violence against women and children, and the hostage-taking of innocent people.

Together with all freedom-loving and peace-loving Iranians, who seek cooperation and coexistence instead of enmity with their neighbors, we express our sincere sympathy to the victims and their families.

Make no mistake, Israel today is the target of the attack of the same extremist forces and poisonous ideas that have returned our country, which was once advanced and progressive, to the dark ages.
