#Russia / #Ukraine 🇷🇺🇺🇦: Today a missile hit #Kostyantynivka in #Donetsk Oblast; which have killed 16 people including a child.
"It should be noted that based on the publicly available datas it's impossible to make a definitive identification —at least for now."
However, it seems quite possible that the missile could be fired from a place very close to the impact site in the published video.
In general, the missile seems likely to be a malfunctioned air-defense missile (perhaps a short-ranged surface-to-air missile?). However, as stated earlier, a precise definition is currently not possible.

#Colombia 🇨🇴: Clashes were reported between FARC-EP and ELN in Tame, #Arauca.
Allegedly 12 ELN fighters were killed and weapons were seized by FARC.
M60 machine gun, improvised 40mm grenade launchers Galil AR assault rifles, common AR-15/AK rifles can be seen.
The improvised grenade launchers appear to be patterned after FRG M201-Z; they are possibly based on 40mm barrels taken from damaged launchers and equipped with COTS accessories.

🇱🇻🚫🏥🇷🇺 It has been reported that medical institutions in Latvia are now required to check the residency status of potential patients before appointments can be scheduled to seek medical assistance.
This order disproportionately effects the Russian population within Latvia, many of whom are elderly and still without a renewed permit. If their permit is invalid, or has been canceled, they must either stop seeking appointments with health professionals, or pay a fine of 50 euros (the cost of a week's groceries in places like Riga).
Although the Latvian government has stated that in the events where urgent medical attention is necessary, they will offer assistance regardless, this is another step in a very wrong direction for Russo-Latvian relations and does not even account for those who are mentally and physically terminally ill.
"In the photo - a memo for the registry staff. So far, apparently, a closed instruction." - Aleksey Stefanov

In their statement, as noted by observers, they warn against attempts to prevent them from opening the front in Sajo, like in Marea, near Tell Rifaat.
Previously, a Tent of War was also installed in this city.
Noteworthy that armed clashes between Turkish-aligned tribal militias and US-backed Kurdish Forces are being conducted on the axis of Manbij and the so-called Peace Spring Zone, currently occupied by Turkish Armed Forces, (parts of provinces of Raqqa and Hasakah)

🇦🇷 💵 🇺🇸 What Is Dollarization, and Why Is Argentina Considering It?
Argentina has a long history of printing money to compensate for government overspending. That’s produced long periods of high inflation, even hyper-inflation. Small wonder, then, that the South American nation is once again considering the radical step known as dollarization, which to date has been fully tried only by much smaller economies.
Zimbabwe shifted to the dollar in 2009, after the local currency collapsed and a bout of hyperinflation decimated savings, then reintroduced the Zimbabwean dollar in 2019, to mixed success.
Why is dollarization a topic in Argentina?
It’s been proposed by Javier Milei, a libertarian economist and flamboyant populist who has emerged as the leading candidate in Argentina’s presidential campaign. (The first-round vote is Oct. 22.) Dollarization is one of his campaign pledges aimed at putting a lid on inflation that’s running at more than 110% a year. “The peso melts like ice in the Sahara Desert,” Milei often says of the currency’s rapid depreciation. Argentina pegged the peso to the dollar in the early 1990s as a weapon against inflation, and President Carlos Menem announced his intent to fully dollarize in 1999. But the dollar peg lost support during a deep recession, and President Eduardo Duhalde severed the 1:1 link in early 2002.
