Editt#1: He was found stabbed to death. Gennady Zhuganov, the leader of the Communist Party of Russia, demanded that an investigation follow as soon as possible and punish the culprit. Mark Tkachuk, a significant communist politician from Moldova was the one that broke the news. He had a close collaboration with Horjan and the Transnistrian Communist Party.

🇺🇸🇪🇺🇭🇺 The US embassy in Budapest released a statement on the 28th anniversary of the "Pride Festival" in Hungary expressing its concerns over "the laws and political rhetoric in contradiction with the principles of non-discrimination and respect for human rights".

The declaration emphasises the need for leaders and governments worldwide to respect and protect the rights of LGBTQ+ people and to eliminate the laws which discriminate against them.

Recently, Hungarian authorities have fined a library with 36k USD for selling the graphic novel "Heartstopper" in the minors section of the library. The novel actively promotes homosexuality.

The declaration was signed by 39 countries, mostly in Europe, and a number of foreign institutions and NGOs. Notably, Poland was not one of the signataires but Ukraine was.

🇷🇴🤝🇺🇸❌🇭🇺 Romania condemns Hungary for LGBT rights violations in a recent American declaration!

Romania was one of the 39 countries that signed this declaration of condemnation for LGBT rights. Recently, the Romanian government has adopted a friendly tone towards the LGBT lobby preparing to pass a law which would recognise same-sex marriages made outside of Romania under the pretext of "preventing the separation of families".

There has not been any mainstream media talk in Romania about this bill as the majority of Romanians are not in favor of same-sex marriages and talking about it would destroy the electoral campaigns of the mainstream parties next year.

Additionally, the Romanian government seemingly after it bought the "free press" is now resorting to the same tactic which it used regarding the Bystroye Canal and the aid Romania provides to Ukraine, keeping a tight, nearly non-existant flow of information, with extreme punishments for those that publish information any form (the reason why there have been few photos and videos of military equipment passing through Romania).

This also shows the increasing anti-Hungarian rhetoric growing in Bucharest, although for the wrong reasons, not because of Hungarian irredentism but because Hungarian governments place more value on their identity than Romania does. Should be no surprise that the Fidesz friendly Hungarian Democratic Union in Romania (UDMR) will get pushed out of the Parliament.

Last year, UDMR initiated a copycat bill of the one passed in Hungary which sought to protect children, including Romanian children, from LGBT indoctrination. The bill also sought to assign the child's gender at birth. The bill received strong support from AUR which voted for it every step of the way. The bill caused outrage among liberal NGOs and the journalists at RFE/RL which were angry that the bill would "strip the young people of the ability to inform themselves about their real identity". Meanwhile, the mainstream parties, the liberals (PNL) and social-dems (PSD) abstained from voting or even voted against it but the bill passed tacitly through the Senate but received negative notices from the parliamentary commissions on human rights, education, equality of opportunity. The bill has been put on hold after these negative notices as the European Commission sanctioned Hungary over the same bill in 2022.

In 2021, UDMR also initiated a bill meant to raise Romania's fertility rate giving mothers and families with young children 300 EURs.

Through this letter, the Israeli Prime Minister informed His Majesty the King, may God help him, of the decision of the State of Israel to "recognize Morocco's sovereignty over the territory of Western Sahara."

In this sense, the Israeli Prime Minister indicated that this position of his country will be "reflected in all relevant acts and documents of the Israeli Government."

In addition, he stressed that said decision will be "transmitted to the United Nations, regional and international organizations of which Israel is a member, as well as to all countries with which Israel maintains diplomatic relations."

In his letter to the Sovereign, the Israeli Prime Minister informed that Israel is positively examining “the opening of a Consulate in the city of Dakhla”, and this within the framework of the realization of this State decision”.

El Frente Polisario también busca formar un "acuerdo global" con la UE basado en "políticas de buena vecindad ".

Pese a esto, el Ministro de Agricultura español "no" le dio "mayor valor" a las conversaciones iniciadas con las autoridades saharauis, apuntando que el acuerdo de pesca es “entre el Reino de Marruecos y la Unión Europea”.

🇬🇧Due to the fact that the fishing agreement ended today, the Polisario Front already began talks with the Canarian fishermen at the beginning of July to possibly grant licenses so that they can continue fishing in the waters of Western Sahara.

These licenses are one year long and must be approved by the Government of Spain.
The Polisario Front also seeks to form a "global agreement" with the EU based on "good neighbor policies".

Despite this, the Spanish Minister of Agriculture "did not" give "greater value" to the conversations started with the Saharawi authorities, pointing out that the fishing agreement is "between the Kingdom of Morocco and the European Union".
