During the visit, President Yoon announced that he agreed to provide Ukraine with a package of security, humanitarian and reconstruction assistance
Zelenskyy thanked South Korea for its continued security and humanitarian assistance, and added he hopes for South Korea's participation in the construction of a recovery center in Ukraine.
Dubbed as the "Ukraine Peace and Solidarity Initiative", the package will include additional military supplies that are larger in scope than last year's and the effective implementation of US$150 million worth of humanitarian aid, or $50 million more than last year.
"The Republic of Korea will be a partner in Ukraine's construction of freedom, peace and prosperity, and furthermore be a reliable partner contributing jointly with Ukraine to freedom, peace and prosperity in the world," he said, noting how Russian Intervention in Ukraine reminded him of South Korea's own history of invasion by North Korea some 70 years ago.
As South Korean Media Yonhap News Agency stated, "Yoon's visit was a highly secretive and high-risk operation" that sent a "strong message of support for Ukraine" from South Korea/ROK

Situation at Bakhmut front: During the last 24 hours Russian Army managed to expell Ukrainian Army from the southern outskirts of Berkhivka/ะะตัั ัะฒะบะฐ. On the other hand, situation in Klishchiivka/ะะปััััะฒะบะฐ remains practically unchanged: Ukrainian Army managed to penetrate the first Russian defensive line and reach the urban limits of the town, but the attack was repelled. On the other hand Russian troops withdrew again from some of the hills in order to avoid more casualties due to the Ukrainian artillery.

Deir Ezzor province: Sabikhan Town in eastern Deir Ezzor countryside witnessed a state of mobilization of the National Defence militia after a number of its members fled from their military positions in the town towards unknown destinations in fear of being put to battle with the International Coalition forces.
Moreover, members of the 4th Division and the security branches mobilized on all river crossings in fear of an attack from the International Coalition forces on these areas.
This comes in light of the ongoing tension and military escalation in the region between Iranian militias and the International Coalition forces in eastern areas of Syria.
On July 11, Deir Ezzor City witnessed security mobilization of regime forces and Iran-backed militias, with a rise in alert among the 137th Brigade, the 4th Division, the Revolutionary Guards, security branches, Peopleโs Army, National Defence and Al-Shoโaitat, in fear of potential external attacks in the region, following the latest events in the region, amid deployment of anti-aircraft inside neighbourhoods of the city.
