🇪🇺❌🇷🇺💀 — The OSCE Parliamentary Assembly adopted a resolution in which it recognized Wagner Group PMC as a terrorist organization and recognizes Russian Federation as a state sponsor of terrorism

— On July 4, 2023, the Parliamentary Assembly of the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe on Tuesday has adopted a final declaration, in which it called Russia a state sponsor of the Wagner Group private military company, a terrorist organisation.

In the final document of the meeting of the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly in Vancouver, it is indicated that the actions of the Wagner private military company on behalf of the Russian government can be "fairly characterised as terrorist."

On the resolution, It is also noted that OSCE member states should take measures against the Wagner Group and its affiliated and successor structures, in particular by declaring them a terrorist organisation.

The resoluition also "calls on member states to strengthen Rules-based international norms that clearly recognize the terrorist nature of the Wagner group and its actions" and "the responsibility of Russia as a state sponsor of this terrorist organisation."

The Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe became the first international organisation to recognise Russia as a terrorist state – it adopted a corresponding resolution in October 2022.
