Under tightened export restrictions unveiled by Japan’s Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry (METI), Japanese suppliers of 23 types of semiconductor equipment are required to obtain prior export licenses to sell to China starting from July. This follows an agreement by the US, Japan and the Netherlands to limit the export of advanced chip-making equipment to China.

As the Chinese government urges Tokyo to revoke the curbs, a number of Chinese listed companies have addressed investor concerns by saying that the measures will have a limited impact on their operations, and that they are enhancing efforts to seek domestic substitutes, according to published corporate statements."

🇷🇺🗡❌🇷🇺 — On June 15, 2023, 2 weeks after the Belgorod raids, the Ukraine-based Free Russian Legion - the paramilitary unit linked with Russian diaspora liberal movements - published a footage showing its fighters during the clashes in Shebekinsky district, Belgorod Region, on Russian side of the Ukrainian-Russian Border

During the video, it's possible to see the Free Russian Legion fighters — some of which notoriously of Central Asian/Eurasian origin — alongside fighters from the also Ukraine-based Russian Volunteer Corps moving towards the border areas and breaching protective fences, then eventually engaging in combat with Russian Border Guards

It is notable in the video that areas of the ground close to the border are completely burned and scorched, probably given the Russian armed forces' use of thermobaric weapons such as TOS-1 MRLS against militant positions.

A curious fact is to realize that in addition to some fighters who were with the unit's paramilitaries having their identification blurred, the unit also blurred the images of their weapons, for some reason
