— "Recep Tayyip Erdogan may have come agonisingly short of a first-round win in the presidential election, but the Turkish president was likely able to find solace in the parliamentary majority he now commands.
Although Erdogan's ruling Justice and Development Party (AKP) experienced a decline in electoral support in the parliamentary elections held alongside the presidential one, dropping from 42.28 percent to 35.61 percent (the lowest in its history), changes in the electoral law favouring larger parties allowed it to secure 268 seats.
The Nationalist Movement Party (MHP), the AKP's chief ally, also experienced a decrease in support this year, from 11.20 percent to 10 percent, taking 50 seats on 14 May."

A Colombian police patrol was attacked Wednesday afternoon with an explosive device in the municipality of Tibú, leaving at least two uniformed officers and a civilian dead and ten wounded.
President Gustavo Petro condemned the attack and warned that those responsible for the attack perpetrated in the region known as El Catatumbo would be sought.

The delegations of the Government of Colombia and the guerrilla of the National Liberation Army (ELN) decided to extend the peace dialogue table they are holding in Havana, Cuba, until June 8, to continue working on fundamental issues of the bilateral agenda.
Recently, the Colombian government is relying on Cuban help to advance peace agreements between the guerrilla terrorists (FARCs) and the government itself. Some attacks have occurred in recent months, which has hindered the definition of a quick agreement between the parties.

🚨🇵🇰🪖 ~ The Military media spokesman had informed mediapersons in Jan 2019 that a total of 717 cases were referred for trials by the military courts during last four years of which 646 were disposed of. It was stated that 345 hardcore terrorists were sentenced to death of which 56 had been executed.
A total of 296 other convicts were sentenced to imprisonment of different terms whereas five of the accused were acquitted.
According to the said data, the conviction rate of military courts was 99.22 per cent. Majority of the convicts facing death penalty.
