Artsakh Parliament's plea to former and current presidents of Armenia and Artsakh receives swift responses as former leaders publish statements in support.

On May 22, 2023, in response to Nikol Pashinyan's statement that Armenia is prepared to recognize Artsakh as a part of Azerbaijan, the Artsakh Parliament held an emergency session and unanimously passed a statement condemning this action.

Following the plea from the Artsakh Parliament, former presidents of Artsakh and Armenia promptly published statements expressing their support. These former leaders, recognizing the gravity of the situation, condemned Pashinyan's stance and affirmed their solidarity with the people of Artsakh.

The Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Azerbaijan met with the Commander of the Pakistani Army's Ground Forces.

This was reported by Gwen Wright, from the Legal Department of the English Government, in a letter addressed to Judge Sara Cockerill, dated January 31, 2023 but which was made public on May 23.

The letter explains that "the National Assembly of Venezuela voted to dissolve the interim government, and the position of constitutional interim president, headed by Juan Guaidó, with effect from January 5, 2023" and that consequently the British government left to recognize said investiture
