It is reported that Lapin led the operation to clean up the border areas of the Belgorod region from saboteurs of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

On some footages, it's possible see the same Colonel-General Alexander Lapin managing a motorized rifle platoon and regulates the movement of military equipment on the outskirts of the village of Glotovo in the Belgorod Region.

It is worth mentioning that the reports come with a clearly ironic tone, as in Pro-Russian circles, General Lapin became an infamous figure because of the Second Battle of Lyman during the Kharkiv counteroffensive, where Ukrainian Army took Lyman from Russian Forces
