The object flew across portions of Hawaii but did not go over any sensitive areas, the officials said.

🇪🇺🇺🇸🤝🇺🇦❌🇷🇴 Cotidianul 1.05.2023 | The EU and the US are investing millions of USD into Ukraine's digging operations in the Kilia-Bystroye Canals to the direct detriment of Romanian interests in the area.

According to a thorough investigation by journalists from Cotidianul.ro they have come to the conclusion that the EU Commission is actively covering up its involvement in the Ukrainian operations that are threatening Romanian commercial and shipping interests on the Danube, in other words, the EU is actively working against one of its member states in order to help a non-EU member state.

The journalists contacted the EU Commission's PR office under a freedom of information request which was denied under an exception to the rule which was brought up by the director of the office which justified the decision as it "involves a politically sensitive matter involving recent discussions between a Member State and a neighbouring country" and that its disclosure would "bring harmful consequences to the climate of mutual trust between the authority of this country and the European Union".

The journalists tried to access the case file relating to the Bystroye Canal, a dispute dating back to 2004 between Romania and Ukraine over shipping rights and environmental issues. The denial proves that the case file exists despite the EU Commission claiming previously that it had no information on the matter. It's contents are unknown.

Later, the US embassy in Ukraine published a press release outlining US investments into Ukraine totalling to 48 million USD which would be used to restore and expand the ports of Ismail and Reni on the Kilia branch of the Danube on the border with Romania in addition to a new hydroelectrical power plant in a blatant violation of all ecological conventions signed on the protection of the wildlife of the Danube Delta.

It is, therefore, unsurprising that the Western friendly government in Bucharest has kept quiet on the issue with the press following suite not even trying to investigate the matter. The Romanian public was deliberately kept in the dark as to not cause a definitive collapse in support for Ukraine and its war effort and also, to prevent the public from turning against the ruling government.

The previously made claims of "dredging the Bystroye Canal to remove the alluvium that has deposited at the bottom" are all, in fact, lies made to cover up and give a convenient excuse for these operations, operations which are intended to increase Ukraine's grain exports and offer an alternative route to the port of Odessa in order to "achieve global food security" per the statement of the US embassy.

🔵 On Thursday, the U.S. Army Special Operations Command's (USASOC) annual capabilities exercise, or CAPEX, used a scenario involving Taiwan for the first time, Drew F. Lawrence of Military.com reported.

🔵 "The [People's Republic of China], in accordance with our national defense strategy, is our true pacing challenge out there," Lt. Gen. Jonathan P. Braga, commanding general of USASOC, said in a speech before the exercise at Fort Bragg, according to Lawrence's report.

Eighty percent of voters said they are worried that Japan would be caught up in the armed conflict if the United States and China clashed over Taiwan, according to an Asahi Shimbun survey.

Voters were asked to select from three choices about the SDF’s response to a possible U.S.-China military confrontation.

Fifty-six percent said the SDF’s role should be limited to rearguard support to the U.S. military.

Twenty-seven percent said the SDF should not work with the U.S. military, and 11 percent said the SDF should use force with the U.S. military.

Voters were also asked which of the two approaches they think Japan should prioritize for its national security: deepening the relationship with China through diplomacy and the economy or strengthening defense capabilities.

Seventy percent selected “deepening the relationship with China,” far more than the 26 percent who chose “strengthening defense capabilities.”
