🌍🇵🇹 Welcome to Ultramar - Portuguese Africa News and Reports!

This project aims to be a reliable source of information on the latest geopolitical developments in the former Portuguese overseas provinces in Africa (the African 'Ultramar') and on the current Portuguese military operations in different African scenarios.

The sovereign territories currently composing the former Portuguese Ultramar in Africa are 🇦🇴 Angola, 🇨🇻 Cape Verde, 🇬🇼 Guiné-Bissau, 🇲🇿 Mozambique, and 🇸🇹 São Tomé and Príncipe.

Additionally, important geopolitical events on the former Portuguese overseas territories outside of Africa will also be reported. These territories currently are Goa, Diu and Daman (India), Macao, and East Timor.

⚡️🇸🇩🇪🇬 16 Thousand Non-Egyptians (That figure includes a mix of Sudanese, other African citizens, and Westerners) have so far have been received in the Egyptian-Sudanese borders

Out of 16 Thousand, 14 thousand are Sudanese, with around 2,000 being foreigners, coming from 50 countries and 6 international organizations.

Red Crescent camps, army corps of engineers, and other military and medical assets have already been posted to the border to help in the affairs of the displaced.

⚡️🇪🇬🇸🇩 A total of 5,327 Egyptians have been evacuated from Sudan, that figure includes 2,303 Egyptians who were evacuated through air convoys, totaling over 40 flights to airports in and around Khartoum and Port Sudan, while the rest were driven to the border.
