🇺🇦🇸🇾❌🇷🇺 — One of the leaked Pentagon files showed that according to American Intelligence, Ukrainian Military Intel planned to conduct military strikes against Russian Federation Military in Syria with help of Kurdish Rebels

The document — which in places bears the marking HCS-P, indicating that certain information is derived from human sources — details how officers of the Main Directorate of Intelligence (HUR), the Ukrainian defense ministry’s military intelligence service, could plan deniable attacks that would avoid implicating the Ukrainian government itself, and, instead, placing the fault on the Kurdish Forces and Third parties

During planning in December, the document states, Ukrainian military intelligence officers favored striking Russian forces using unmanned aerial vehicles and starting “small,” or possibly limiting their strikes only to forces belonging to Wagner Group PMC.

The document indicates that Turkish Intelligence Service, the MIT, was aware of the planning, stating that Turkish officials “sought to avoid potential blowback” and suggested that Ukraine stage its attacks from Kurdish areas instead of those in the north and northwest held by other rebel groups, some of them backed by Turkey directly.

— "A U.S. congressional war game simulating a Chinese invasion of Taiwan showed the need to arm the island "to the teeth," the chair of a committee on China said on Thursday, after the exercise indicated the U.S. must boost production of long-range missiles and businesses must brace for economic fallout.

The House of Representatives' Select Committee on the Chinese Communist Party, led by Republican Mike Gallagher, conducted the unusual tabletop exercise on Wednesday evening with Washington think tank the Center for a New American Security, the results showing U.S. resupply of the island would be impossible after a conflict begins.

"We are well within the window of maximum danger for a Chinese Communist Party invasion of Taiwan, and yesterday's war game stressed the need to take action to deter CCP aggression and arm Taiwan to the teeth before any crisis begins," Gallagher said in a statement."

— "America wants to stop China “dead in its tracks” from a Taiwan invasion by ensuring Taipei has the right weapons and command and control systems, a senior defense official testified this week before the House Armed Service Committee.

Jedidah Royal, the Pentagon’s principal deputy assistant secretary for Indo-Pacific Security Affairs, repeated several times during the Tuesday hearing that Washington’s policy toward Taipei remains unchanged after 40 years under the Taiwan Relations Act. The policy includes providing necessary weapons to defend the self-governing island from attack. On Monday, Bloomberg reported the U.S. will sell 400 Harpoon anti-ship missiles to Taipei, a sale Congress approved in 2020.

U.S. Indo-Pacific commander Adm. John Aquilino told the panel the goal remains “to convince [Chinese President Xi Jinping] it’s a bad choice” to try to take Taiwan by force."
