Former security chief of terrorist organisation of Turkmen Front, Ahmad Tahir, was killed in a bombing at his home in Kirkuk on Friday.

The Turkmen Front released a statement saying that Tahir was assassinated by a bomb attached to his car. The Kirkuk police confirmed that the bomb was a domestically manufactured device. Videos on social media showed the car in flames and thick smoke.

Kirkuk security forces are investigating the incident and no group has claimed responsibility yet.

The Turkmen Front mourned Tahir's death as a "real defender of the Turkmen people" and blamed "terrorists" for the attack.

Although similar incidents in the past have been attributed to the Islamic State, the identity of the perpetrators remains unknown at this time.

🇮🇱🇵🇸📰 Times of Israel: Bill on death penalty for Palestinian terrorists passes preliminary Knesset vote
— "The Knesset on Wednesday advanced a government-backed bill to impose the death penalty on terrorists who kill Israelis, approving it in its preliminary reading.

The bill was approved 55-9, with the support of the Yisrael Beytenu opposition party. It was passed alongside a near-identical version submitted by Yisrael Beytenu MK Oded Forer, and the two will likely be combined further along in the process.

The primary legislation stipulates that courts will be able to impose the death penalty on those who have committed a nationalistically motivated murder of a citizen of Israel. However, it would not apply to an Israeli who killed a Palestinian."

🇷🇺🛢⛽️➡️🌍➡️🇪🇺🇺🇸 Oil Price | North Africa Is Buying Up Russian Diesel After EU Ban | February 27, 2023:

"North Africa has become a key export outlet of Russia’s diesel and other petroleum products after the EU embargo on imports of Russian fuels took effect in early February.

African countries on the Mediterranean, as well as Turkey, had started taking in more Russian fuels even before the Western ban. Now signs are emerging that some of those products could be headed for re-export to Europe, analysts say. But they also note that even if this were the case, it’s difficult to ascertain the true origin of a cargo blended with other products.

And the EU may not be too strict in looking to remove every possible Russian barrel of oil product from its market, considering the major dislocation in global oil trade and the goal of the Western nations to punish Putin but keep his oil flowing around the world."
