🚨 Pakistan, Iran China, Uzbekistan, Turkmenistan, Russia, Turkey, Qatar, Malaysia, Kyrgyzstan, and Kazakhstan have allowed the Taliban to manage Afghan embassies.

Tajikistan is the only neighboring country of Afghanistan that has refused as yet. 🇹🇯❌🏳️

🇳🇬⚡️- Nigeria’s primary opposition party, the People’s Democratic Party, has called for a cancellation of the country’s recent presidential election, citing a lack of transparency and ballot manipulation.

The European Union Observer Mission to Nigeria seemed to indicate that the election was possibly rigged as well.

🇳🇬 Obasanjo calls for repeat of elections

The former President of Nigeria Olusegun Obasanjo has publicly stated that he believes the presidential election of last Saturday has been corrupted, and INEC officials bribed to rig it. He says that the officially announced results do not match with how Nigerians actually voted.

The ex-President has called for all results to be cancelled, and a new election called for this coming Saturday. In this new election, Obasanjo suggests doing away with electronic voting systems altogether, to minimize the risk of rigging.

🇳🇬 APC: Obasanjo is calling for a coup d'état

The ruling APC party, currently leading the polls, says former President Obasanjo's call to cancel the election is tantamount to a coup d'état, and an overthrow of democracy.

The APC has also accused the PDP and LP of trying to “scuttle our democracy and throw the country into constitutional crises” by shopping for court orders to cancel the election on corruption charges, simply because they are losing.

APC spokesman Festus Keyamo warned of the precedent for such actions. “Nigerians would recall that the June 12, 1993 debacle that brought Nigeria to its knees and caused our country international isolation was precipitated by a court injunction stopping the announcement of Presidential Election results."
