Citing statements by the Mexican president, Andrรฉs Manuel Lรณpez Obrador, against the Lima government, the president of Peru, Dina Boluarte, announced the "definitive withdrawal" of the Peruvian ambassador to Mexico, leaving diplomatic relations between the two countries only on a commercial level.
Recently, the government of Dina Boluarte is shielding the country from external interference (and mainly from socialist countries), and is guaranteeing favorable terrain for a possible election of Fujimori.

The transfer to the prison was carried out after the Russian embassy in Brazil asked the Federal Supreme Court to extradite the spy. Previously, Serguey was detained in Sรฃo Paulo.
The investigation is ongoing and should reveal how he operated in Brazil. The PF intends to find out if the Russian spied on any Brazilian citizen, authority, institution or if the country was just his base to act in favor of the Russian government in other locations.
