๐ฅโฌ๏ธ๐ฉ Sub-Saharan Africa/Central Africa: โ As ignored as the Sahel, Central Africa is a crucial point for world geopolitics, in a way, which had its hot spot mainly in 2020. โ "Admin, why do you say that? It's just Africans killing Africans, nothing new!"โฆ
โ "Hmmmm, Bellum Acta admin supporting Western Imperialism against Africans under the premise of safeguarding Africa from Bad China?"
Who knows.
Who knows.

#Archive โ Throughout this thread we will do a basic introspection of some hot spots for this year (2021). Some may be completely irrelevant to some, others may be very interesting to anothers. However, it will remain here for archival purposes for futureโฆ
Eastern Africa (๐ช๐ฌ๐ธ๐ฉ๐ธ๐ธ x ๐ช๐น๐ช๐ท x ๐ธ๐ด๐น๐ท)
โ Even though you, dear readers, see the admin talking about the ongoing conflict in Ethiopia, the immersion necessary to understand the dynamics of East Africa has not been given yet.
Even though East African disputes are simple to understand (Border clashes between ๐ธ๐ฉ & ๐ช๐น, the Nile Dispute & Ethinic disputes inside Ethiopia) and the conflict has been ongoing since the end of 2020, not everyone here is aware of (or cares about) the same
2021 will probably be the year when we will see an "Egypt-Sudan-South Sudan + Any separatist group in Ethiopia" vs the "Axis of Ethiopian Government and the Eritrean Regime" happening
The most interesting point dispute is more than important, an event that both Egypt/Sudan and Ethiopia are allies of Russia and China respectively (Would a Proxy War between the not-so-Eurasian allies be on the front? Who knows)
Not to mention obviously, the Somalia issue and the Turkish involvement there

๐ฟ๐ฆ | ๐งโฌ๏ธ๐ฆ South Africa:
โ To conclude the question of Africa, nothing more necessary than talking about South Africa.
All of you, the admin believes, know what is happening in South Africa with the question of overtly Communist militants and black Supremacists wanting a genocide of Afrikaner natives (and in some cases even Zulu Natives)
After years of skirmishes and ethnic tensions, given the events in Mozambique and obviously the internal events in South Africa seen last year, 2021 will certainly be a tense year for all sides involved in the dispute for control of the southern cone of Africa ( or parts of it, if so).
From the question already addressed about possible attacks against national energy infrastructure (a central topic in the African country) even the country's recurrent ethnic-political disputes
Therefore, following whatever happens in South Africa is essential for anything bigger geopolitically speaking, be it at a regional level, or at an international level.

Southeast Asia:
โ Meanwhile, the international media focuses on the pandemic, the gears of global geopolitics continue moving
And, as you can imagine, two of the largest gears in the world in progress are precisely in Southeast Asia:
โ The Long-discussed ๐จ๐ณ China's Belt & Road initiative
โ The ๐บ๐ธ-led Indo-Pacific Anti-China alliance, the Quad which officially encompasses Australia, India, Japan and the USA
Just as 2019 and 2020 were tense years for the relationship of the U.S. and its allies with China, 2021 is sure to be a hot year, with ๐ญ๐ฐ-style protests slowly continuing against the MIlitaristic Monarchy of ๐น๐ญ Thailand and "Netizens" (i.e. PsyOp) inciting similar events in the ๐ต๐ญ Philippines and ๐ฎ๐ฉ Indonesia in social medias
So don't be alarmed if you start to see anti-govt protests spreading in Southeast Asian countries like Vietnam or even the Authoritarian Singapore (as well as in previous countries)
Southeast Asia is by far one of the most disputed battlegrounds in all of this "game"

Central Asia and Turkic World
โ For centuries a Zone of Russian influence (the last century having been spent as part of the Soviet regime), today, Central asia becomes an environment, albeit under the hegemony of Russian influence, under increasing pressure not only by the Belt & Road Project in China, but also by American & Turkish Soft Powers
In 2019 and 2020, the region found itself not only under the threat of revolutions (be Color revolutions or indeed legitimate rebellions), but also the advancement of the Black Flags, and obviously, 2021 will be no different.
However, contrary to what many think, the issue of Color Revolutions in Central Asia is certainly very dangerous events, with only one state collapsing so that the whole region is in total chaos.
And as you can imagine, this concerns the Kremlin and Beijing directly (either to guarantee the security of their borders, or for economic interests)
So, 2021 will certainly be an interesting year to accompany the region, especially both ๐ฐ๐ฟ๐ฐ๐ฌ
