On May 20, His Holiness Karekin II, Supreme Patriarch and Catholicos of All Armenians, sent a letter of condolence to the Leader of the Islamic Revolution of Iran, Ayatollah Seyed Ali Hosseini Khamenei, regarding the tragic death of the President of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Seyed Ebrahim Raisi, the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Hossein Amir-Abdollahian, and accompanying officials as a result of a helicopter crash.

On behalf of the Supreme Spiritual Council and the Congregation of the Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin, His Holiness expressed condolences to the families of the deceased and to the people of Iran, praying that the Almighty supports the Islamic Republic of Iran in overcoming this difficult trial.

Hundreds of Indian students are facing deportation after Prince Edward Island changed its provincial immigration rules. Around 300 students are protesting and have threatened to go on a hunger strike if the province doesn't review its latest immigration policy.

They forget that studying in Canada as a foreign student is a privilege, not a right.
