Pilot cargo transportation has been initiated along the India-Iran-Armenia trade route, as announced by Armenia’s Deputy Minister of Economy, Narek Teryan, during the Armenian-India business forum. However, there is still ongoing work needed to establish a stable transport corridor, he emphasized without disclosing further details at this stage.

Armenia anticipates that the launch of this trade route will rapidly boost trade and cargo transportation between Armenia, India, and Iran, and subsequently with Georgia and the EU, in both directions.
