The announcement came from Governor Kevin Stitt, who previously raised the prospect of confrontations between State forces and the Federal Government.

Javier Milei sacks Infrastructure Minister Guillermo Ferraro due to allegedly spreading confidential information and eliminates the ministry of Infrastructure, downgrading it to a secretary and putting it under the Ministry of Economy.
The total number of ministries is now 8, Economic minister Caputo now has significantly larger control over the country especially with Public Works, Transport and other important secretaries.
While the official narrative is that of spreading confidential government information, which mind you dear reader is indeed accurate, this is more about giving Caputo far more power to be able to further reduce government spending and cut through a lot of red tape especially as the law package is watered down by about 20% from it's original draft.
