Admin Comment: Of all types of netizens more in the "Republican" camp of social media, one can easily say that any support for Halley comes from 3 types of people:
βπ Unironic Neocons and Atlanticists (this includes the center-right faction of NAFO Twitter & the Zoomer Liberboos whom post NATOwave & phonk edits), who believe that the USA, despite all its problems, should remain the Police of the World and believe firmly that US should do a Final (secular) Crusade to save Democracyβ’ and Freedomβ’ worldwide, even if it leads to WW3
βπΊπΈ Middle-aged Reaganites & liberal-conservatives who have a more laissez-faire view of the economy and not so "liberal" in the American sense of the term (incredible how only in the Anglosphere the term liberal only means social liberal and not economic liberal so to speak) and criticize the economic measures adopted by Biden. Basically boomers.
βπͺπΊ Center-right European netizens who believe that Halley would be ideal to maintain pro-Ukrainian, anti-Russia and anti-China policies, and, above all, friendly to Europe, who are fed up with Biden's very liberal vision of Europe and afraid of Trump's protectionist approaches, considering Halley a third path between both

π¨βπΎ People often ask if there are any agricultural activities in Orania.
The short answer is: very definitely! In Orania, among other things, the following are grown: corn, wheat, alfalfa, pecans, almonds, and olives.
Initiatives such as Bo-Karoo Training's experimental farm, together with the qualification in Farm Management that is offered, also contribute greatly to making agriculture flourish.
Although the region has a semi-arid climate with relatively low precipitation levels, Orania's location along the Orange River together with proper water management practices provides a sustainable source of water for irrigation.

πΏπ¦π’ Just in time to go through South Africa's ports that the ANC government has run into a nightmarish state of chaos and disfunction.
πΈThe container backlog at our 3 major ports stood at 100 000 at the beginning of December.
πΈThe congestion crisis at South Africaβs state-run ports has resulted in cargo ships having to wait 215+ hours at Port Nqura and 32 hours to enter Port Elizabeth port. Meanwhile, the wait to enter the Durban port stood at 227+ hours at the end of Nov.
πΈAccording to the state-owned enterprise in charge of South Africa's ports, Transnet, this severe shipping backlog will only be cleared by February or March 2024.
πΈThe situation has become so dire that the CEO of Transnet described it as "Rome is burning"
πΈβThe average South African [doesn't] realise what a complete and utter catastrophe Transnet is. It is way worse than Eskom (state-run power monopoly)"

πΏπ¦π’ Bad for business β government drops the maritime ball
The general volume of vessels and the sharp increase in maritime traffic around the Cape of Good Hope are both serving to underscore the notion that the Department of Transport (DoT), Treasury and the South African Revenue Service (Sars) are responsible for neglecting the local ocean trade industry.
According to Unathi Sonti, executive chairperson of the Maritime Business Chamber (MBC), about 13,000 vessels call at local ports every year, while more than twice that number sail around South Africa on east-west voyages.
Add to that the 53% increase in traffic around our shores since December due to liners avoiding the military conflict south of the Suez Canal, and the local maritime business could be booming because of the countryβs strategic location.
Unfortunately, the poor planning and consistent underperformance in evidence at South African ports have, for now, put paid to any hopes of maximising the profit potential created by the current supply chain upheaval in the Red Sea.

β‘Israeli fighter jets on the Gaza-Egypt border
According to Russian media, 65 of the people onboard were Ukrainian Army Prisoners of War (PoWs) that were traveling alongside the Russian crew towards a Prisoner exchange, as it happened 7 other times this month, with the plane flying towards an airfield in Kharkov region where supposedly they would hand the Ukrainian PoWs to Ukraine and take Russian PoWs home
Russian Media claims that the plane was downed by an S-300 over Liptsy settlement in the Ukraine-controlled Kharkov region
Meanwhile it, Ukrainian media and Pro-Ukraine channels claim that the Cargo plane was actually carrying S-300s missiles and was targeted due to it, althought such a version couldnt be verified due to the lack of debris of the supposed missiles
All onboard died, including the crew.
